Celebrating Dale County Farm City Week
Members of the Daleville High School Future Farmers of America were among the hundreds attending the Dale County Farm-City Week Celebration held Nov. 15 in Ozark. Sponsored by the Dale County Cattlemen’s Association, the Alabama Extension System, Dale County Farmers Federation, the Kiwanis Club of Ozark, First South Farm Credit, the Ozark Area Chamber of Commerce and Alabama Ag Credit, the theme of this year’s event was “Celebrating 200 Years of Alabama Agriculture.” DHS FFA members, from left, are Sean Henk, eighth grade; Lauren Perkins, a junior; Aneena Reynolds, a junior; Lauren Dorminey, a senior; Sierra Lindsey, a senior; and Alex Peters, eighth grade.

The tag office operates three satellite offices in the county for the convenience of citizens. The tag office in Daleville is open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., the Ariton tag office is open Mondays from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., and the tag office in Pinckard is open Tuesdays from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
