Seniors play city employees in beanbag tournament

On Friday, March 16, members of the Daleville Senior Center and Public Works employees went head to head in the "Seniors vs City Beanbag Tournament." The two teams played eight rounds, with seniors and city employees throwing beanbags and taunts at each other each round. The tournament has been held between the two teams for the last two years. This competition was the third. By the end of the sixth official round, the Public Works employees were around 30 points ahead of the seniors, at 361 to 330. According to Senior Center Director Laura Leger, the two teams played three additional rounds. The Public Works employees won two rounds, and the seniors won one round.
