The Daleville City Council will hold a public meeting to allow citizens an opportunity to express their views and asked questions about the proposed change to the zoning ordinance, zoning map and rezoning of Daleville Avenue from the Ft. Rucker gate to Culpepper Street from B-1(Central Business)  to B-3 (Commercial Highway).The meeting will begin at 5:30pm in the council chambers at Daleville City Hall.The proposed ordinance and map may be viewed at Daleville City Hall, Daleville Public Library, Daleville Water Department and this website.

The class is being offered free to ladies age 21 and up and is limited to 20 participants.All participants must bring their own firearm(s), ammunition and eyewear.The last date to sign up for the class is May 6 unless the class is not filled. If spots are available then the sign-up will continue until it is full or the class date, whichever comes first. If a waiting list is developed then a second class will be scheduled, said Mansfield, adding that if the weather is inclement on the class date, the re-schedule date is May 28.Class will begin at 8 a.m. and last until noon at the city’s training facility, which is located just outside the Enterprise/Fort Rucker gate, off Rucker Boulevard.  See article on this website for more details.  For more information  and to sign up, call the DDPS at (334) 598-4442.
