City Council Public Hearing

The Daleville City Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, June 7th, 2016 at 5:30pm, at the Daleville City Hall.The purpose of the hearing is to allow citizens to express views on the proposed revision to the City of Daleville Zoning Ordinance, zoning map and rezoning of Daleville Avenue from the Ft. Rucker gate to Culpepper St., from B-1 (Central Business) to B-3 (Highway Commercial).The Zoning Ordinance and zoning map may be viewed at the Daleville City Hall, Daleville Water Dept., and Daleville Public Library.It is also available at this website.

Long awaited rain/river gauge up and running
The city of Daleville received word it had been approved for a state of the art river stage sensor gauging station January 2015, received it in December and after weeks of installation by city public works crews, the gauge is now functioning. It is located at the U.S. Highway 84 bridge, near mile marker 192—adjacent to multiple areas prone to major flooding when the Choctawhatchee River spills its banks.

Daleville High seniors celebrate graduation
Seventy-one seniors walked across the stage at the Daleville City Schools Gymnasium Friday evening, May 20, to receive long-awaited diplomas from Principal Joshua Robertson. The ceremony was to have been held at Warhawk Stadium but was moved to the gymnasium due to inclement weather.
