Hall outlines SES duties at AUSA meet
A link between the “green suits” and the “civilian suits” is the function of the Senior Executive Service, according to Russell B. Hall. Hall, the deputy to the commanding general of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence at Fort Rucker, outlined the duties and role of the SES for those attending the Fort Rucker-Wiregrass Chapter of the Association of the United States Army lunch meeting Aug. 27 in Ozark.

Big plays help Warhawks capture first win
Livermore Field inside Warhawk Stadium is surrounded by a running track, but the only track meet taking place Aug. 28 was on the football field. At least that was the case for the Daleville Warhawks. Big runs from Coley Locke and Alex McNeal helped the Warhawks secure their first win of the season against Charles Henderson 27-9.

A first ever official guide to “The City of Possibilities” is now available. Daleville Chamber of Commerce President Steve Drown and Chamber Executive Director Deanna Carmichael said the new guide is a first time project for the city.

City launches “Discover Daleville”
There’s another new way to learn about all “The City of Possibilities” has to offer. The City of Daleville has launched a Facebook page called “Discover Daleville.” Kat Eubank, assistant to Daleville Mayor Claudia Wigglesworth, is administering the site that was launched in July.

Third Daleville National Night Out huge success
The Daleville National Night Out last week was bigger and better than ever. That was the assessment of organizers of the third annual event as they surveyed the crowds Aug. 4 at Culpepper Park.  “As a community, we join more than 16,000 communities and military bases worldwide to celebrate this event,” said Daleville Mayor Claudia Wigglesworth at the opening ceremony. “This is a time for people to get to know our local, regional and state public safety professionals.”
