First public hearing held: Planning commission approves zoning ordinance
With few questions and no resistance during last week’s public hearing, held by the Daleville Planning Commission, the board unanimously approved an updated zoning ordinance for the city. The ordinance now goes to the city council for review and public hearing before final approval by city leaders.

Hundreds of local runners join over 40,000 worldwide for JROTC 5K
More than 300 people took part in the Daleville Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps’ 5K Saturday, April 23, and officially became part of an even larger pool of runners/walkers internationally. There were 931 locations holding 5K’s and over 40,000 registered participants in the 100th Anniversary celebration of JROTC/ROTC.
