Home-grown Beasley accepts Daleville Recreation Center director job
Beasley has been surrounded by sports her entire life. She played college basketball for Enterprise State Community College before moving to the Huntsville area to coach a plethora of sports.The move back to Daleville was something that Beasley didn’t have a hard time deciding on, since she’s quite familiar with the area.“I always wanted to come back,” Beasley said.“I grew up here. I know how small towns are. The job was available, and I wanted to work with kids.”In addition to serving as the director for the recreation center, Beasley will also coach softball and basketball. She also serves as a personal trainer on the side, and has been doing so for three years.Her aspirations are to help keep kids in the area active and out of trouble.“I know how small towns are. Sports are a good way to keep kids off the streets,” Beasley said.“Being able to coach is such a blessing and something I love to do.”
