Daleville Senior Center receives $2,000
Daleville Mayor Jayme Stayton and Councilmember Bobby Hardrick presented Daleville Senior Center Director Laura Leger with $2,000 from SARCOA.According to a letter from the agency, the "funding from the Alabama Department of Senior Services was made possible by Sen. Harrie Anne Smith."The funds will be used to make improvements to the Daleville Senior Center, including purchasing new chairs for the center and parking lot repairs.Mayor Stayton thanked Councilmember Bobby Hardrick for his help in contacting Smith and helping the center receive the funds.Hardrick said he went to Montgomery to meet with Smith and Sen. Steve Clouse after Leger told him the seniors wanted a gazebo at the center.
